Installation Partner Development Manager (California)

Job Description

The Installation Partner Development Manager will be responsible for the identifying, negotiating, onboarding, and training of installation partners that will support Swell in achieving our annual revenue goals. The ideal candidate for this role understands how to identify, build and manage a network of third party contractors who install and service solar and energy storage systems. This individual needs to have a firm understanding of the installation process, costs and requirements that impact our install partners on a daily basis. Having experience working with solar and or electrical installation and service companies in the past is a plus. The Installation Partner Development Manager will report to the Director of Partner Programs with additional reporting and accountability to the VP of Operations. This is a remote position primarily that may require visits to partners before, during and after onboarding. Lastly, this individual is self-motivated, well organized, and has excellent verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with installation partners.

Responsibilities

● Build, optimize and scale Swell's Installation Partner network

● Identify, engage and onboard new partner opportunities as needed to meet Swell’s installation volume requirements

● Develop long term success strategies to minimize partner attrition

● Support partner development by by bringing sales, operations and installer partners together to discuss opportunities

● Utilize scorecards and dashboards in Salesforce to track and manage partner performance

● Lead routine meetings with partners and other stakeholders to review performance and discuss corrective actions

● Foster continuous improvement approach with partners

● Expose installation partners to new and innovative Swell partnership opportunities expanding benefits partnering with Swell

● Help design, implement and maintain onboarding and training programs covering Swell processes and tools for best in class project execution

● Collaborate with the cross functional teams such as Swell operations and sales to create and enhance processes and interdepartmental workflow efficiency

Requirements

● 4 Year college degree in a related field or equivalent experience

● Highly entrepreneurial

● Success at building training programs and materials

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills

● Ability to self-motivate and work in an independent remote environment

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills

● Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions

● Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to enthusiastically work within constantly changing priorities

● Experience with G-Suite and Salesforce, a plus

● Travel up to 30% of the time

● Ability to work at a desk for extended periods of time

Must be Located in California

Compensation: $98,000- $100,000 annually plus commission
